The Open Society Institute works to build vibrant and tolerant
democracies whose governments are accountable to their citizens. To
achieve its mission, OSI seeks to shape public policies that assure
greater fairness in political, legal, and economic systems and
safeguard fundamental rights. On a local level, OSI implements a range
of initiatives to advance justice, education, public health, and
independent media. At the same time, OSI builds alliances across
borders and continents on issues such as corruption and freedom of
information.
Equal Justice Network
Project for the Future of Equal Justice is joint venture of NLADA and CLASP. Its mission is to strengthen and expand the provision of civil legal assistance to low-income people through the collaborative efforts of a community of advocates that includes legal services programs, the private bar, social service and community organizations, law schools, courts, advocacy groups at the state and national levels, and poor people as advocates for themselves.

National Association of Public Interest Law
NAPIL (now called Equal Justice Works) is engaged in organizing, training and supporting public service-minded law students, and is the national leader in creating summer and postgraduate public interest jobs.

Was founded in 1972 to offer grantsmanship training and low-cost publications to nonprofit organizations and government agencies.
